Welcome to our family!
We are a 3rd generation maple syrup maker, with the next generation already started! We are just a small sugar producer with 400 sap buckets, and always looking for ways to improve our production.
Our family, friends, and neighbors all join in on collecting the sap. We occasionally use a team of Belgian Draft horses to pull our sap wagon. Once it comes in from the woods we start boiling it down with our grandfathers rebuilt 3x8 King evaporator. As of now, it is boiling down approximately 100 to 120 gallons an hour, which is very helpful because it takes about 43 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup. After it is boiled down into syrup, it is filtered and then bottled for our customers.
